Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in The Bronx, New York) is an American actor and a singer. Navedo's professional acting began in soap operas. Navedo was in the ABC soap drama One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. In 1999, she was part of the cast of the CBS soap show Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996, she appeared in only a small role of Girl 6 and then went onto appear in New York Undercover. In 2001 Navedo played a supporting role in the action comedy Double Take. Double Take and the following year in the drama film Washington Heights. Between 2001 and 2004 Navedo had a recurring role in the NBC crime drama Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. later he starred in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in several movies, such as El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo played recurring parts for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 and 2013. Navedo was a part of the Comedy film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious Parody which was released in 2015. is a parody of the film Series. Navedo started her acting career with daytime soaps. From 1995 to 1997, Navedo was Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. She was cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap-opera as Theresa Sandoval. The actress had a minor role in Girl 6 in 1996 and later appeared on New York Undercover episodes and The District. Navedo starred with Double Take, an action-comedy film released in 2001.
